About: I got my first road bike for Christmas 2003. I toyed around with it for a year before starting with Cape Atlantic Racing/Team Beacon's Junior Development program. The program helped me immensely over the winter of 2004-2005 and I started my first road race on my 15th Birthday. I was hooked. Over the next few years, with the help of my team, my coach Wade Hess of Hightidetrainingsystems.com, and my parents support I was able to achieve many of my cycling goals. I decided to come to Rutgers after the 2007 Cyclocross season, and it has since been one of the best decisions of my life. I look forward to continuing my cycling career with the Rutgers Cycling team.

About: I am a Molecular Biology and Biochemistry major at Rutgers. My brother originally got me into mountain biking, but after discovering that Rutgers had a cycling team, I've been converted to road every since. About: I am a doctoral student in the Sociology Department. In short, I'm interested in conceptions of identity and the symbolic interaction. I've spent most of my time in Boston and have been a fairly active participant in the fixed gear community there. I've competed in numerous sprint triathlons (on both single speed and fixies) but generally prefer to bomb around the city. I also enjoy motorcycles, old cars and the rock and roll. I've been in many bands but have since pushed all those yearnings to the side to concentrate on my PhD.
